I ordered a Silhouette machine a few weeks ago and I’ve been having fun trying it out on various projects! FYI – a Silhouette is a craft cutting machine that can do amazing and wonderful things. It can cut vinyl, paper, magnet paper, temporary tattoo paper, rhinestone templates, fabric interfacing, templates for etching and more! The list of projects is endless.

The first project on my To Do list was to make a welcome sign for my front door. The delivery service dropped off the box with my new Silhouette in it and within 2 hours, I had a new sign on my door!

Then, I tested out the die cutting ability with one of the free Silhouette templates – a butterfly card.

I’ve also used the Silhouette to bling some T-shirts for my ministry team at church. We call ourselves the Pink Ladies and we decided that our t-shirts needed some bling. I was able to make my own custom rhinestone template and at our last team meeting, we all bedazzled our shirts!

A friend of mine made a wreath for her friend’s baby shower. The initial in the middle of the wreath just needed a little something extra. So, we cut the baby’s name and some polka dots out of brown vinyl and it turned out SO CUTE!

I can’t wait to use my Silhouette for more projects! I’m working on creating some organization labels for storage bins.
