In honor of National Kitchen & Bath Month, we are highlighting some kitchen/bath before & after photos from projects we’ve completed.

We quickly figured out that we don’t take a lot of before & after photos in the bathroom! The bathroom is typically a very small space without much room to take photos that do not have a toilet in them. No one wants to see photos of our clients’ toilets… so we’re improvising! Generally, bathrooms include medicine, beauty products & linens… so we’re showing off photos of some of those completed projects.

Here’s a photo of a medicine cabinet that we organized (sorry, no “before” pic!):

Here’s a pile of donations that we gathered from the linen closet & bathrooms at one client’s house:

Just in case you feel misled by the post title and {really} wanted to see a toilet photo… here’s a very nice photo of one of our client’s bathrooms post-remodeling! Isn’t this one of the coolest bathrooms EVER?

We love our clients & will organize any space in their homes… even the bathrooms! {We just don’t take a lot of photos of that particular project.} Here are a few tips about how to organize your bathroom:

  • If you don’t have a lot of space, only store currently used items in the bathroom. Use a linen closet or other storage space for the extra bath & body products to “shop” from.
  • Store towels below the sink, so if you have a leak it is easy to clean up – just wash the towels and you are good to go!
  • Sort personal care items into tubs (I personally like the shoebox bins) by use (nail care, hair care, hair removal, extra deodorant, lotion, etc.).
  • Do not use bins with lids for frequently used items – use open baskets instead.
  • Keep items that you use daily within arm’s reach.
  • Every 3-6 months, go through the drawers/cabinets in your bathroom to maintain the organization. Throw out broken or used up items and replace with fresh, new ones.
  • Donate old towels & linens to your local humane society or animal rescue organization.

Everyone uses the bathroom daily and it’s typically a small space – a GREAT place to get started organizing!

Happy National Kitchen & Bath Month!
