Vacations are exciting; packing, not so much. We're here to help you take the stress out of packing for your family as you travel. So what are the things we need to efficiently pack?

Pre-Pack a Toiletry Bag

Pre-decide, pre-plan, and get things taken care of ahead of time, so you don't have to rethink it every time you're going on a trip. So a toiletry bag, for example. Buy an extra of each thing and keep it packed. I keep my toiletry bag ready to go all the time, just in case I want to jet off for the weekend! Your deodorant, your toothbrush, your hair products, etc . . . Keep an extra one of everything.

Using Ziploc® Bags

Ziploc bags come in very handy when traveling. You can use a Ziploc bag to keep things sealed (like shampoo), just in case it leaks. You can also use them to pack each day's outfit for your kids, and then mark it Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc. It makes it very easy for kids to get themselves dressed, and it also reduces the arguments about what they are going to wear!

Waterproof Phone Cases

I love a good waterproof phone case. So whether you're going to the beach, a pool, or a waterpark, dirt, sand, and gunk will stay out of your phone. If you don't have one of these, they are fabulous. We love this little waterproof pouch from Amazon that you can put your phone in. You can actually type on your phone through the plastic!

Compression Bags

Compression bags are a wonderful addition to your travel kit. There's a lot of different varieties of them, and you can easily get them on Amazon. You can put clothes or different things in them, and then all you do is squeeze the air out. The space you can save is incredible!

Extra purse

I always pack an extra little purse or bag for on the go. It doesn't matter whether I'm traveling internationally or going to the beach, I really like having a tiny bag that I can just throw my phone and keys into and carry it with me. I can carry it across my body, so I'm not carrying a big purse as a carry-on.
