When working with clients, I often refer to Stephen Covey’s Big Rocks illustration. I think it is a wonderful illustration of both time management and life priorities. When looking at a mountain of disorganization, sometimes you need to break down the mountain to the foundation and evaluate priorities first. Once you have decided what is most important to you, it is easier to make quick decisions about the stuff that’s not as important.
