If I only had more time….. Do you find yourself thinking or saying this constantly? Most of us do. Unfortunately we seem busier than ever. With so many things bogging down our schedules and the pressures we feel from work or kids activities we will continue to have stress filled days. The unpleasant truth is that if your schedule is affecting you in negative ways, you need to reevaluate how you manage your time.

There is no time management?

"Each one of us gets the same 24 hours, 1,440 minutes, 86,400 seconds in a day. You can’t save up time from today to be used tomorrow or borrow from next week for today. Time is external to us – we have no control over it. It ticks away, a second at a time, and when it is past, can never be reclaimed. How we choose to use that time, however, is very much within our control. Time is a precious resource and one we must use wisely. While we can’t manage time, we can manage ourselves in how we use our time. Time management is a misnomer – it is actually self management we seek." ~ Charlotte Britto As professional organizers, we see clients every day who are stressed out, overwhelmed and struggle to manage it all. A common phrase we hear is: "How do other people manage to get it all done?" Having it all is an illusion. One person cannot work full-time, own a side business, raise multiple children, take care of a large household, volunteer for every PTO committee, make crafts from Pinterest, enroll your kids in every travel sport and foster every homeless animal that comes their way. There are simply not enough hours in the day. We work with our clients to determine what the best activities are for their life and the lifestyle they wish to live. Quality over quantity! It is okay to say "no" sometimes. We assist our clients with creating positive habits & routines that streamline their work and home activities. Consistency and efficiency will allow you to get things done so you have time to enjoy life and relationships. We refer our vast network of business associates to our clients who have learned the value of hiring an expert. If you want to get more done, hire someone to do the stuff you either don't want to do or don't have the skill to do. Focus your energy at work on income producing activities. We create solutions for our clients - custom systems to help manage your habits & routines, calendar, to-do list, workflow, project list or household. Occasionally, we will suggest tools (physical or digital) to help you implement your systems. It's true - you cannot truly manage time. But, you can manage what you do with your time. We are here to help!
