While you are riding as a passenger in the car, take a few minutes to clean out your purse and/or car. When you stop at a gas station or a fast food restaurant, throw your trash away. Try to get into the habit of taking the trash out every time you return home. It will be easier to throw away trash if you have a trash bag in your car. When the trash bag gets full, dump it out!
