When looking for storage solutions, think outside the box {literally!}. For most of us, our first instinct is to look at plastic storage tubs at our local discount store. There are thousands of stores that you can shop at (online and in person) for organizational tools. Some of my favorites are:
But, one of my favorite things is to take an item that is traditionally used in a certain way and re-purpose it into a storage container. Think outside the box! You could mount a curtain rod inside a closet to store gift wrap ribbon spools. You could use checkbook boxes as drawer dividers. You could use baby food jars to sort screws, nails and other hardware items. You could take a utensil caddy and store cleaning supplies under the sink. The list goes on & on... Be creative!
